Here's my first battle report in a while. This is my second slideshow report, and while a lot of work, I think it is worth it. Click or use right arrow (seems better to me) to advance through at your own pace. docs.google.com/presentation/d/e/2PACX-1vQm3R9iStstliprrRa8-0cM7eX_zd0YTs7XdvhMbigynbGUPxfbwGlJZpk_RzYhDHjs0YyETp5lc_ql/pub?start=false&loop=false&delayms=60000The Goblins have some units from the Goblin list, some from Orcs. My Orcs are just Q5+ D5+, nothing special. The Dead Kingdom is my own design, based on the Cauldron Born from the Prydain stories, in that the most significant thing about them is that they are hard to kill. So the basic units have Defense 4+. The Ringwraith figures are ancient wizards running the show. I will publish an army list after I've finished tweaking it. andy

That was an enjoyable BatRep to read! The table looks really nice, and the struggles of the forces was fun to witness. Looks like the game could have gone differently with just a few changes in planning, but still looked like a fun time.
The clear and informative pictures in the slideshow makes it really easy to follow along~
(Also nice repping that OPR merch!)

Thanks. We actually played over two days (explaining the game, explaining the armies, having lunch, etc). On the second day I wore my (Ossified) Undead shirt. I thought about wearing that the first day and having my friend wear the Age of Fantasy shirt, but decided that was weird.
Thanks for comments on the format. This is my second done as a slideshow. At first I didn't think the pictures were going to be good enough, but I zoomed in where necessary and it made a difference. And you can save a lot of text by labeling something in a picture with an arrow!

Great battle report, the slides showing each move made it very tense, especially seeing everyone get ready for battle at the start! Also really cool to see you're wearing the official AoF t-shirt.

Thanks. I wish I'd put some links into the slide show, so I'm going back to places I've put this and posting links to One Page Rules, and to Geo-Hex, who made the base terrain. www.facebook.com/geohex/It really was a fun game with some tense moments, with me sending the wyvern and the spiders all the way to the other side for a chance to win at the end. But he handled it well and quashed my hopes. We forgot about only one full strength attack per turn most of the game. I tried to mark melees later so I'd remember, but it didn't seem to matter much. I had some units that fought at full strength more than once, but it didn't help them. I think it happened the same way for him a time or two/ That rule doesn't flow naturally, so I tend to forget. Much of it otherwise does just flow naturally. andy
