Lots to like about this but some things I think need tweaked.
The Master Hero. Then select his hero type or he just stays a basic hero. Awesome! Great idea.
The plasma rifle/pistol...me thinks AP4 is way too high. Sure it’s a one shot(1dice) but It’s not a fusion without Deadly. I would keep it at AP1 or 2. Keeps its price point down especially for my Plague Bros who can take 5 in a infantry unit.
Destroyers capped at 3 or a joined to make a unit of 6. It sort of gets away from how another popular model maker sells sets of 5. I was ok with the previous rules for these guys. Join with a Hero makes a unit of up to 7. Interesting. Powerfist has been dropped as the standard load out. I would retain the power fist as standard. The Destroyer armour I would actually consider keeping as def2+. Yes it will keep the point cost high but...they are walking tanks.
Storm rifles and twin heavy rifles I would leave out any AP. Same for Heavy rifles. This would make more sense if def3+ was the standard battle bros. Not sure about that.
Capping the range back. No issue there. Makes sense. Means Aircraft suddenly get a little better.
Advanced Tactics rewrite. Interesting and cool. Digging it!
Missile Launcher.. only has AT ammo. Shame to not get HE. Less range which I like.
Bikes come with 2 heavy rifles as standard...good...reflects better the out of the box model.
Elite Pathfinder.. that’s new. A stealthy hero to lead a unit. Cool
Attack Speeder Typhoon missiles..like the missile launchers denied the HE option.
Heavy Exo Suit. No longer SLOW but it’s only (1). Max when joined unit size is 2. I would like to see these as back to. (3) to match the set by the popular plastic model maker perhaps.
I would like to re-assure you about the cost of Plasma weapons, which going from current AP(2) will not be much more expensive even when going up to AP(4), again because they are single-shot weapons. We believe that a special weapon needs to feel special, and currently Plasma simply isn't there yet.
About the Destroyers/Exo-Suits, we don't think it makes sense for our games to keep worrying about box sets from other companies, especially if we think it would make our games worse. We think that Destroyers being a potential Tough(30) unit (tougher than a titan!), and Exo-Suits a potential Tough(36) unit is not healthy for the game, so we have to do what is best for the future of our games. Also, it's important to note that for all we know tomorrow whatever box sets are currently available will be changed to have a different amount of models (as has happened before), so we think that it's a futile pursuit.
As we mentioned in other places, some of the changes (like having more weapons with the anti-air rule) will start to make more sense in the future, when we reveal new things.
1. I have seen that, except for the chain fists of the destroyers, the battle brothers do not have antitank melee options.
2.Is there a possibility to merge the profiles of the assault brothers and the normal battle brothers? With options for a team that better represents the miniatures of the veterans and that gives them flexibility, a real jack of all trades. Like this example:
I dont understand why base weapons (pistol, rifle, etc..) of battle brother are AP1.
It doesnt make sense with what’s written here :

For me no base weapon that can be spammed should have AP, it’s too powerful.
For plasma I understand the concept to have weapons with différent effects, it’s a little bit weird that plasma pierce armor better than fusion but with only 1 shot and no deadly it should be ok.
BB are a weird bunch, because their elite infantry is considered the "standard". Something that we're trying to do with v2.50 is make elite infantry feel a bit more special, and so they're getting AP1. This is in line with elite infantry from other armies, which usually get stuff like extra attacks, rending, etc.
BTW, nothing is 100% set yet, so this may change in the future.
Ok I understand the point, but I’m ont convinced, from my point of view if a majority of the armies has the possibility to get mass AP weapons, it makes the defense stat a bit useless. They may be other ways to make them elite, like a good defense comparing to the other troops (maybe rework all infantry defense stat?), or with special rules ?
I think to your point of mass AP weapons, as far as I understood, this is something that will get revised as well. So the general damaga output will also go down, because of that I think def3 will still feel special.
