I was reading through the news and this bit caught my eye in the part regarding more original armies.
We’re also going to put more effort into making sure that even our classic armies have a much more unique feel, so that they truly belong to OPR.
Going forward are the rules for classic armies in OPR going to start distancing it self from it's GW counterparts or was this purely referring to 2D/3D printing models?

That part of the article was just referring to the 3D models and not the rules. We are going to keep things compatible with GW counterparts as always, but already now there are some differences here and there, so there's that. Something that we won't be paying too much attention to in the future is compatibility with GW box sizes, because they keep changing their stuff up and we can't break our games just to keep up with their box sizes (ex.: destroyers going from size 5 to size 3).
