Hi, I'm about to start a small wargames club based on Grimdark Future: Firefight. Apart from eBay and Gumtree, can anyone recommend sources for cheap small skirmish teams, please? You see, I'd like to have a collection of ready-made models to start with. I've not got a big budget.

Good idea. I just bought some on eBay. My local shop also had mega cheap Runewars sets which I bought, but I'd prefer sci-fi.

There are always paper minis to show some other alternatives. OPR has a bunch available.
For easy human defense force, some historicals or even green army men could work.

Wargames Atlantic has some great sets for sci fi armies around $35, for over 20 minis with tons of weapon and head options.

Thanks to everyone who made a suggestion. I ended up making Firefight teams from the following:
Wargames Atlantic Einherjar
Stargrave troopers
Starsaga squads
GW gretchin
Also, my local hobby shop - Castle Comics in Cumbernauld - donated a handful of Primaris Marines too.
