Ramshackle games has a few nice steampunk/sci-fi dwarves in its catalog. They could be good for GF and GFF: shop.ramshacklegames.co.uk/index.php?id_category=26&controller=category I especially like the Dwarf Power Jarl, but Storm Jarl and Techno Jarl are also nice. In regards of the Dwarf Storm Jarl, it looks to have kinda of rockets on its back. It would be nice to have an option to give it anything like Ambush, Flying, Scout or Strider to represent this (and of course, no Slow).

I'll see if I can add some rules for these Ramshackle models.

I'll see if I can add some rules for these Ramshackle models. Can we get Dwarf Guilds rules for the old 40K Squats models, especially the large vehicles? (Happy to provide examples, if needed.)

Another easy mode free option: Chibi hammer 14k minis, how I got started with papercraft I've been a paper model designer for nearly 20 years (as Michael The Haggard) and sold some things on DriveThroughRPG. I have been a 40K gamer for about 15. JUST found ChibiHammer a few weeks ago and love it. I live in a small town now with people who want to play but who cannot afford the 40K minis or books. Chibihammer and One Page Rules are THE WAY to go.

I posted some links for 1/72 scale plastic fantasy armies on the AoFS group, but they could go here, too. Caesar: www.miniknight.com/caesar.htmAlliance: theredbox.com.ua/alliance.htmYou can get from various places, like Michican Toy Soldier: www.michtoy.comYou may have to search for them. I found with search for Scale: 1/72 and Period: Fantasy I don't use these figures, but like the style on some. andy

I've got a box of Dark Alliance post-apoc Stalkers. Don't expect the detail of 28mm hard plastic models, but once cleaned they paint up nicely. Considering the cost and how quick they are to paint, getting enough for a couple (or more) armies could be a very cost and space effective way to satisfy the miniature wargaming itch.

Flatpack Forces offers 2D lasercut miniatures, printed front and back. flatpackforces.com/A nice option for those who aren't much into the hobby aspect (crafting, painting), they're quite unexpensive and it seems they look decent on the tabletop (haven't got any myself, so I judge by just looking at pics on website). Selection isn't very wide atm, but if they'll get some success it's probable the line will grow.

Some very nice 20mm figures are from Zvezda. You can also use Airfix, Italeri and esci for historical figures. And I found this: wizkids.com/upm/primed but unpainted minis from wizkids. Those are beautiful! Nice range on fantasy minis for lords and mages and monsters and so on.

found some awesomestuff for the paper-mini folks! the page www.retrogrademinis.com offers mostly free and very nice fantasy minis for print. (you can also make your own roll20 tokens with them) the idea of those minis matches nice with opr! it's worth to look at.
